Cars in the Park - 2008 - Pretoria

4 Austin's and one other arrived for display at Cars in the Park.  The weather was wonderful and so were all the cars on display.  The entrance and exit to the venue was a bit problematic, but the fantastic day made up for that.

Cars in the Park - 2008 - Pietermaritzburg

Dan Robinson kindly donated an excellent model of an Austin Seven Saloon to be used as the committee saw fit.  It was decided to use it as a Floating Trophy for 'The Most Active Region'.  Then came the big debate as to who qualified.  It was a two horse race - Natal or Cape, and Natal won by a whisker.

In the photo the trophy is presented at Cars in the Park.

Cars in the Park - Pretoria - 5 August 2007

As a club it was decided not to attend the event, but still two cars braved the overcast, windy cold day for a pleasant day.  Lots of visitors had questions about Austin's and enquired about joining the club.  We had club members from as far as Swaziland and Cape Town come and visit us at the show.

Christmas Lunch - 2003

Held at 33 High Street Restaurant, next to the Piston Ring club at Modderfontein.
Two Austin's in attendance (Thank you Tony & our chairman), a plethora of "pretenders" were present in the parking lot, but we didn't mind, it was super to have the people there.
A great time was had by all. If you missed it ~ you missed out ! (Perhaps you should diarise the next one...)
